A year ago one of these combines would cost about $900 to fill up. Now, it costs roughly $1,600.
When we met with farmers out in Fort Morgan, they told us they sometimes fill these twice a day. That adds up quickly.
It’s totally unsustainable. We need to end the war and lower diesel costs.
