Coloradans can’t afford Trump’s economy.

We’ve seen higher prices on everything from gas to groceries to health care to housing from the day President Trump took office, despite him saying he would lower costs on “Day One.”

In fact, U.S. inflation accelerated in September to a FOUR MONTH high because of Trump’s illegal war in Iran and reckless tariffs.

No wonder working families are feeling like they can’t catch up.

Your paycheck is staying the same, while every bill you pay and every item you buy is getting more and more expensive.

While President Trump is focused on ballrooms, bombs, and billionaires, here’s what we’re doing to make life more affordable for Coloradans:

FIGHTING HIGHER PRICES: Fox News reported this week:

“Americans aren’t just seeing the price tag increase for imported goods. Thanks to President Donald Trump’s tariffs, they are now paying more for products made in the U.S.A, according to new research from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.”

And every day Trump’s illegal war in Iran drags on means billions more of your tax dollars burned, our servicemembers in harm’s way, and prices rising on everything from diesel to groceries.

We’re fighting President Trump’s reckless tariff policy and his dangerous war with Iran that’s driving up the cost of gas, food, and everyday essentials.

MAKING HOUSING MORE AFFORDABLE: From President Trump’s tariffs that are raising the cost of construction to his illegal war that’s driven mortgage rates through the roof, many Americans feel like homeownership is out of reach.

We worked to pass the most significant housing legislation in decades, including measures to keep large Wall Street investors from buying up homes that belong to Colorado families. Our bipartisan bill will help make that dream of buying a home a reality.

We’ve also secured over $800 MILLION for affordable housing across Colorado. It’s simple: more affordable housing options means stronger communities.

LOWERING HEALTH CARE COSTS: President Trump and MAGA Republicans passed their ‘One Big Bad Betrayal Act,’ kicking millions of Americans off their health insurance. We’re focused on reversing these cuts so every Coloradan has health care that’s affordable, accessible, and universal.

That means taking commonsense steps forward to improve our health care system. We capped the price of insulin for seniors on Medicare. We lowered prescription drug prices by giving Medicare the power to negotiate. And we’re working to pass our bill to implement price transparency and end surprise medical bills.
