Colorado pays the highest price for Trump’s war

Diesel prices have DOUBLED in Colorado.

Before President Trump’s illegal war in Iran, diesel was at $3.27/gallon. Now, it’s at $6.60/gallon.

And get this: our state has seen the biggest jump in diesel costs.

In Commerce City this week, we met with truckers, first responders, food bank representatives, agriculture producers, and so many more Coloradans who have been hit hard by the mind-boggling increase in diesel prices.

We heard more about what that means on the ground for Colorado industries that depend on diesel every day. It means cutting back and scraping by. Whether that’s cutting back on trucking routes, food deliveries, or firefighters cutting back on their trainings, skyrocketing diesel costs make business unsustainable.

Not only that, but the soaring diesel prices also increase costs everywhere else. It means the food you pick up at the grocery store costs more. It means farmers are having to decide whether to plant next season or not. Anything you order online means higher prices as you cover the increased price of shipping.

Every day Trump prolongs his illegal war in Iran, Americans pay the price. In taxpayer dollars wasted. In the lives of servicemembers put at risk. And in higher prices at the pump and grocery store.

We need to get back on track and lower costs.

And we need to do it like the American economy depends on it. Because it does.

We’re fighting to end Trump’s illegal war with Iran and return some sort of sanity to the marketplace.
