Hickenlooper is keeping up the fight in Washington

There’s less than three months until our general election, and John’s been busy fighting for what matters: you.

Back in May, when President Trump tried to give his criminal buddies a $1.8 billion taxpayer-funded payout, John introduced an amendment that would kill it permanently. Republicans ditched town instead of voting on it because they knew how corrupt it is. They’ve still refused to kill it, and Trump has continued to say he loves the idea.

Bottomline: it’s not dead, it’s just dormant.

Criminals like Tina Peters and the January 6th rioters don’t deserve your money. John is dead-set on making sure they don’t get a dime of it. We won’t stop fighting until Trump’s corrupt slush fund is off the table for good.

John’s also focused on lowering costs. Just last month, he worked closely with Senator Elizabeth Warren to pass the most consequential housing bill in decades. The 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act will help lower housing costs, cut red tape, stop corporations and Wall Street banks from buying up houses, and get veterans the housing loan assistance they need.

On July 11th, it became law.

John also notched a big win to help to lower healthcare costs and stop you from being ripped off. He advanced his bipartisan Patients Deserve Price Tags Act out of committee. It’s one step closer to becoming law.

The bill forces hospitals and insurers to publish their prices and backs it up with real fines if they don’t. No more going into a hospital without knowing how much it’ll cost or how it compares to your other options.
