What has Team Hickenlooper been up to?

Team,

We’re less than 2 months away from Election Day. Between now and November 3rd, we’re keeping the energy high and gearing up to take back our democracy, together. Here’s what we’ve been up to this summer on the campaign trail:

We celebrated Juneteenth at Denver’s 70th annual Juneteenth parade! We’re happy to see the parade still going strong. Our fight for equality and justice is far from over.

Our team got to show up and show out for Denver’s 52nd annual Pride Parade. Love is love is love. We’ll keep fighting to protect the rights of our LGBTQ community.

On our primary election day, John stopped by Team Hick HQ to thank our wonderful summer interns for all their help.

John also got the opportunity to call up some of you and personally thank you for making this all possible. Want to hear some of the calls? Check out our recap here!

And of course, that leads us to our primary election night watch party. We had an amazing time at Steuben’s celebrating our win with the folks who make up this people-powered movement.

Thank you again, Colorado. 💙

After the primary election, Colorado Dems hosted an amazing Unity Event to send a clear message: we’re together, fighting to lower prices and stop Trump’s corruption.

Next stop: down to Alamosa to meet some of our amazing grassroots supporters. We discussed our fight to stop Trump’s reckless tariff-taxes, illegal war of choice in Iran, and bring down costs for Colorado families.

Joined the Adams County Democrats for a picnic surrounded by folks ready to take back our power and democracy come November. Surprise guest Senator Mark Kelly stopped by to show his support!

We hosted a gun violence prevention discussion with Former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, Secretary of State Jena Griswold, House Majority Leader Monica Duran, and Colorado Black Women for Political Action President Bianka Emerson. We discussed how we need to end the gun violence epidemic and how we’re fighting against the Trump admin’s attempts to make our communities less safe.

We stopped by Elect Democratic Women and Former Representative Cheri Bustos’ event to rally support for Colorado’s own Army Veteran Jessica Killin and Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher. We’ve got the chance to help them flip red seats and take back control of Congress!

Showing our support for Colorado’s young ranchers and farmers with the Denver Rustlers!

Got the chance to go visit our State Fairgrounds ahead of Colorado’s annual State Fair down in Pueblo! We got to explore all the fun Colorado-themed games and activities they had to offer while also talking about how we can help Colorado’s farmers and ranchers. (And seeing some pretty cute animals!)

Fresh off of Labor Day weekend, we got the chance to stop by the Western State Carpenters Union to chat about supporting our labor workers and what we can do to better protect our workers. They are the backbone of our economy. We need to continue to fight for them.

We’re running full steam ahead with just 52 days before November 3rd. We’re grateful to have you by our side as we do it.
