We debated our MAGA opponent

Last week, we shared the debate stage with our far-right MAGA opponent, Mark Baisley.

Team Hick was there to support us the whole way through!

Baisley showed he would be a rubber stamp for President Trump’s cruel agenda. I proposed a future where we end the president’s cost-of-living emergency, lower healthcare costs, and stop his corruption. I spoke directly to Coloradans and laid out my vision for our future.

My opponent also laid out his vision for the future — one where the president’s ruthless agenda continues unchecked. He believes Trump’s costly war is “worth all of this pain,” and he couldn’t tell us a single thing President Trump has done wrong.

10/11 – The Colorado Sun Debate at CSU

Both onstage and off, Mark Baisley has shown exactly who he is: another MAGA yes-man who will fall in line with the president’s cruel policies at every turn. He even admitted on stage that he would support a national abortion ban, called the fight over abortion access “the slavery decision of our generation,” wants to end public schools, and get rid of government healthcare.

10/14 – The 9News Debate at MSU Denver

Colorado deserves someone who doesn’t push ridiculous conspiracies. Mark Baisley can’t even keep his lies straight.

First, he voted that the 2020 election was illegitimate. Then claimed that words were “put in his mouth.” Then he decided to blame Antifa for January 6th instead of his Republican buddies and called the attack on the Capitol “more of the same” as riots in other cities. He also claimed to not remember trying to ban gay marriage in 2020 (he was one of four Republicans to introduce a bill to do just that).

It’s simple, folks – Mark Baisley is not willing to stand up and fight for what’s right. He wants to be President Trump’s “yes” man and nothing else. You deserve better.

We’re doing the exact opposite of what Baisley wants. We’re standing up to the president and putting working families first. Together, we’ve already stopped Trump from selling off our public lands, blocked his slush fund for Tina Peters, and are pushing to lower prices for folks across the country.

We only have two weeks left, Colorado. Let’s do this.
